(1965)
Robert H. Pearson, composer
Repercussion, which features the percussion section, was composed by
Robert H. Pearson in 1965.
The composition, based on a single theme first stated by the low woodwinds,
consists of two main sections, a slow opening section that builds to a
tremendous climax followed by a fast section featuring contrasting statements
by the brass, woodwinds and percussion.
Cadenzas by the flute and clarinet separate the two sections of this work.
