Concord Band Holiday CD Now Available
Enjoy music of the holiday season with The Concord Band's first CD, A
Winter Festival. Ideal for holiday gift giving, the CD is a compilation of
The Concord Band's Holiday Pops concert performances. Among the pieces on
the CD are James Curnow's Overture to a Winter Festival, Leroy Anderson's
A Christmas Festival and Sleigh Ride, two collections of Chanukah melodies,
Victor Herbert's March of the Toys, a Christmas sing-along, and the powerful
Russian Christmas Music by Alfred Reed.

The Concord Band, founded in 1959, is one of the leading community concert
bands in the United States. It is well known for its innovative programming
and the exceptional quality of its commissioned pieces. It presents both
formal and Pops concerts throughout the year. Its summer concerts at
Fruitlands Museums in Harvard, Massachusetts, are attended by more than
10,000 people each year. The band's Music Director is Dr. William G.
