The Concord Band Performs Free Concert at Belmont's Payson Park
Concord, Mass., June 17, 2008 The Concord Band will perform a
free concert at Payson Park in Belmont on Wednesday, June 25, at 6:45
P.M.
Music Director Dr. William G. McManus, former Director of Fine and
Performing Arts for the Belmont Public Schools, will lead the Band in a
program that has something for everyone in the family.
Highlights will include patriotic marches, medleys from My Fair
Lady and other Broadway musicals, and movie soundtracks including
Pirates of the Caribbean.
Band member Gerry Kriedberg will be the featured saxophone soloist on
Embraceable You.
Bring the whole family to Payson Park for a summer evening of musical
entertainment!

The Concord Band, founded in 1959, is one of the leading community
concert bands in the United States.
It is well known for its innovative programming and the exceptional
