Holiday Pops with the Concord Band and Guest Vocalist Rene Pfister

Concord, Mass., November 22, 2009 — Celebrate the holiday season at the Concord Band's annual Holiday Pops concerts, to be held at 51 Walden St., Concord on December 11 and 12, 2009. Guest vocalist Rene Pfister will be the featured soloist on several pieces with the Band and lead the audience holiday sing-along. The program also includes Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, A Charlie Brown Christmas and other holiday favorites.

A multi-talented actor, musician, and composer, Rene Lewis Pfister's performances have included over 200 original songs, 30 musicals, and 20 years of cabaret. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Mr. Pfister has acted and directed productions in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. He has appeared on stage in the 30th Anniversary European Tour of Hair and locally at the Cutler Majestic in On the Twentieth Century. He is a vocal coach to adults and young people in Concord, and in 2007 he created Make Your Life A Musical, a company that creates personalized musicals for special events.

The Holiday Pops concerts begin at 8:00 pm in The Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden Street in Concord. Table seating is available at $20 per person, $15 for children under 12.
